About Us

A Robotics Club Born from Passion

Moon Robotics (MoonBots VEX 862) is an Auckland-based VEX Robotics Club founded in 2024 by a father‑son duo.

We serve students across all Auckland area.

What is the difference between VEX IQ and VEX V5?▾
VEX IQ is designed for ages 6–15 and uses plastic snap-together kits, focusing on teamwork, programming and design. VEX V5 is designed for ages 14–18 and uses metal parts with advanced programming and a full engineering notebook. Moon Robotics coaches both.
